Range Rover Evoque

Looks exciting.....anyone else think it looks like a posh version of the FL?

Having seen a few in real life, they look okay and I'm sure that they'll sell shed loads of them!

Okay, so it's now following the irritating fashion for ever smaller windows and a rising waistline (God, I hate that!) and it's so obviously never, ever, going to get muddy but Land Rover need to build what people want to buy; I even hope that some of the styling details (the lamps, for instance) get transferred on to other Land Rover designs in the future...

In the unlikely event of ever buying one I'd go for the style "Dynamic" - and - I'd insist that the dealer changed the model name badge from Evoque to Evoke. No badge change no sale.

No sale then, they can remove but I doubt LR would allow a respelling Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Mr Pinks I feel that your take on "renaming" is probably right, so if I did desire one (which I don't - had a good look at them at the recent Geneva show) I'd have to do the re-badge myself.

You mean despite it's similarity to a Ford Focus with letter boxes for rear windows et al?

Seriously, letting VB near a car was a seriously flawed April fools trick, despite it not even being April. Come on, would you trust her to say cook a meal? remember to take the contraceptive measures? Pick the kids names? Laughing

Even sing? Rolling with laughter

And we are all assuming that VB didn't have a hand in naming the EVOQUE. Without her influence it would have been properly spelt - EVOKE.

I mean, if she was involved on other models the FREELANDER could have been FREEQULANDER, DISCOVERY - DISQUOVERY, RANGE ROVER - RANQUE ROVER and DEFENDER - DEQUENDER!

Rolling with laughter

Just how much damage do we think her association with the Revoke has done to the brand?
