United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Santorini Black
New Member With A New Freelander 2 HSE (Sport).

Hello, I have just found out about this site from LR customer relations so I thaught I would sign up.
I am a member of several MG & Rover sites & now I have my second Freelander here I am on here too!.

I have a FL2 HSE in Rimini Red with the Storm Grey Trim & Privacy Glass. It is an HSE manual with loads of options as I don't like bog standard vehicles & I thaught the FL2 was a bit dull in it's standard form to be honest.

Here are the additions I have made:-
* Roof Rails.
* Side Steps.
* Front Light Gaurds.
* Front Bumper Styling Cover.
* Driving Lamp Pd Kit with colour coded bezzels.
* Front & Rear bumper body kit styling.
* Front only mud flaps.
* Chrome Exhaust Finisher.
* Chrome Fender Vents.
* Chrome Door Mirror Covers.
* Colour Coded Door Handles.
* Wood Dash Trim Kit.
* Headrest Monitor Kit (though currently in wrong colour).
* Upgraded to the 19" Tripple Sport Alloys. ( baught the Shaddow Chromes too as couldn't decide which ones to have - the Shaddow Chromes are now for sale.

Have tried to upload pictures but I need someone to tell me how to do it on here lol. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

(Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather.

Until I can work out how to upload pictures if you click on the link here to my website gallery it will take you to gallery No-5 which is the "New Works Vehicle" gallery http://www.exv-mobile.co.uk/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=244

The FL2 was bought to not replace my very unique MG ZR-Express but to preserve it for the future.
The MG is in Gallery No-4.

When registering it asks for model year - there is no option for 2010 model year. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

very nice indeed, especially the storm grey interior.

I'm not really a fan of heavily modded cars and I think the HSE is just fine as standard, but you certainly know your stuff...............well done !!

That was the idea as like I did with my MG ZR-Express Van that is a one-off & I wanted the Freelander to be as close to unique as possible. The problem I had with the FL2 as I said to LR & the dealer is that it looks boring & needed a fair bit to make it stand out.
The phylosiphy behind it is that things like the chrome mirrors as they are bright will draw attention to the vehicle & then they read the signwriting & hopefully phone me for a valet. This did/does work with the MG. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Caravan George must be really p Censored d to see a car that is so-o-o good looking that even he will not be able to fiddle the car of the year award. BTW did anything ever come of th enquiry into vote rigging on the best looking car claim.
Super looking car, must have cost a fortune with all the gizmos Ralph
