I know you say you have looked for them to be repaired, Thumbs Up

but i recalled one of the RRSport lads having his new alloys stripped and finished in Shadow chrome at a company near my office in Garforth called 'the wheel specialist' they might be able to recommend a local company to you Thumbs Up

I think they get the shadow effect by mixing black/grey into the clear coat finish Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

No, I think the more intelligent of them accept that they are genetically disadvantaged when operating complex machinery (particularly vehicles with reverse gears). Sadly those of lesser intelligence will insist on perpetuating the argument. Not sure why they bother, they're still otherwise the superior sex. You'd think they'd at least give us one small niche of dominence.

Mrs Avtur appears to think that front wheels are her parking sensors!! (its the sidewalls that wear before the tread!)

Also whilst the female of the species is supposed to be genetically predisposed to better cope with multitasking, that certainly does NOT extend to Mrs Avtur's ability for simultaneous operation of a clutch and gear lever, so it is strictly automatics only.
