How much for a 2014 Land Rover Freelander 2?

A person in our office is selling his 2014 Land Rover Freelander 2 and he is asking for £12,000 with 80k miles. Is it a fair price?

2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

We paid a premium for our new car, but there was only one new one left in Australia in white with light interior, in western NSW, so a 269km one way trip. Went there once to look at it & again to pick it up a few months later for our preferred registration date due to typical travelling. So it went into storage.

Decided we didn't want the replacement. Still glad to this day we bought the Freelander.

The only other one was 5km away, the colour was bearable, but it had a black interior. Bum burning stuff in summer in Australia. It also had a lot of extras & they would match the price of the white one in Orange in NSW without all the extras. We wanted the white one so bought it.

It just boils down to how urgent one wants to buy or sell. Couldn't be happier with our one, even without the pile of extras. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

I traded my 75k miles 14 plate FL2 SD4 XS auto with full LR service history and a new cambelt for about £8k last November and it appeared on a (non LR) dealers forecourt for £11900 about a month later with new MOT having failed on rear rear pads and discs (so would have been replaced) and probably needed new tyres and a warranty. So £12k for a private sale sounds way over to me. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Firenze Red

I've just traded in my 2014, 64 plate Metropolis, with 121,000 miles on the clock in great condition for it's miles and got £7k exactly for it.

Prices seem to be around $10k - $12k on this selling site
