2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Sumatra Black
SatNAV

Hi all - great forum. Does anyone know whether the SatNAV has a night function wheerby the screen changes to night colours or??

according to the manual, you can set 'autobrightness' so that the screen dims in low light and brightens in bright light. I haven't had much chance to test this yet, so can't give an opinion on how effective it is.

I haven`t set up anything on mine, and it always seems to be about right in terms of brightness day or night so I assume it is dimming automatically.
The fact I hadn`t thought about it until I read the above must mean it was working OK! Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly!

Netherlands 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Narvik Black

About the dimming SATNAV. -->It dims automatically when lights turn on and you can adjust the brightness in the software. Next to that it dims more when you manually dim your dashboard lighting.

conclusion. works great.
