Hello all new on here, cant seem to find this topic anywhere so any help welcome:-
Whats the best way to test if fwd is operating ?
Had the FL2 SD4 in a wet muddy grass field with trailer attached.
Selected the grass/ snow/ gravel program, the front wheels were spinning and seems no drive to rear.
Tyres ok all same tread, had Haldex serviced 2000 miles ago (new filters & oil) .
No warning lights on, dash confirmed terrain control was in grass/ gravel/ snow mode?
(Turned DSC off - made no difference ).
Pulled trailer out no probs with TD5 Disco, FL2 came out fine without trailer seems weight on tow bar effecting drive?
With trailer connected on Tarmac but wet roads its was getting front wheelspin when setting off on any slight slope.
Trailer weight 1500 kgs.
No unusual noises any where everything else seems to be working as it should.
Any suggestions welcome!

Looks like you’ve already tested it - from your description it’s not working.
You shouldn’t have any wheel spin if the 4 wheel drive is working.

Might get spin on all wheels in mud with a trailer.

Try it on a slippery surface without the trailer, have someone watch while you gun it from a start and see which wheels spin.
