Track rod end boots replacement

My track rod end boots need replacing although I am capable of doing the job and have done so before on various cars over the last 50 years or so but now I am quite happy to let someone else have the pleasure! From what I recall it is not too complex a job but my local main stealer has quoted £612.55. I'm not sure if this price includes a 4 wheel wheel alignment, which I would have done anyway. Do you learned gentlemen consider £612.55 a reasonable price?

J

Original LandRover boots are over £120 a pair, as opposed to £12 a pair for OEM.
I suspect Stealers will charge £100 plus for 4W alignment that can be had at half price elsewhere.
That leaves about 3 hour labour at stealer rates for fitting, so there quote is probably right for their charges.

As stated previously, this seems a lot to pay for what is a simple enough job.

Go elsewhere. Don't give them satisfaction Andy
