I've done the side vents and had thought about doing the tail handle the same, but bearing in mind it's going to get handled a lot the maybe a professional job would be better,

Have you thought of leaving the lettering voids silver or a contrasting colour?

Actually I’d forgotten that, our first FL1 (bought new as employee back in 2001 I think, had the BMW engine with auto) had the depressed LAND ROVER in the rear bumper and I found some vinyl letters to stick in the voids, looked really good actually, the letters were a silver and the bumper grey, just enough contrast with subtlety.
