United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Aintree Green

You could probably find a nice XS that has all the kit you list. In my opinion, one of the best options (I think its standard HSE kit) is a heated front screen, and I must admit heated steering wheel, sounds like a gimmick but great in winter on a really cold morning. 2007 TD4 XS The work horse that earns its up keep

had heated steering wheel on my 2014 X5, it was ok at times but didnt change my life Laughing
HSE does seem the best, but I just really like the look of the dynamic, but some of the hse models look nice too, I guess in my eyes if it had nice wheels and some side steps then it would probably do

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

They do get in the way, getting out rather than ingress.

Took mine off (well to be truthful when I bought it one was actually loose, and I mean nothing was holding it on except gravity!) but after a week looking at it we decided it looked better with them on, so repaired them both (there’s a thread on my repair somewhere) and it now looks just right.....to me. Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......

Not sure that's correct about the trim Question . My 2013 HSE has Ivory trim throughout and my mates 2014 Metropolis has ivory seats and tan door cards.

Also 4 out the 5 cars with light interiors on the used approved website have the same colour door cards and other trim panels. All are 14/64 reg.

Yes I was referring to the later models like the Metropolis.......to me looks it like they ran out of black seats and threw some left over light seats in a black interior Rolling with laughter

I don’t know if the last of the HSE were similarly affected as I have not seen as such. Regards

I don't think the freelander 2 is so huge that youd actually ever need side steps. (Unless you're about 4'6") Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

No they are not needed at all for ingress/egress, as I said in my post I put them back on because the vehicle looked bare without them.

There is a practical aspect, at least down here, as the nice low protruding step acts as a slider bar for some of our very narrow granite edged lanes when squeezing past opposing traffic, better than pinging those plastic cill covers! Regards
