No, Bluetooth in older models doesn't support streaming music.

I bought one of these: https://www.ebay.nl/itm/Kinivo-BTC450-Blue...SwLEtYftaS

Before the Kinivo I had another (cheaper) one. It made the music sound bad and there was a constant noise on the background, even with the supplied filter.

I swapped one of my Cigar Lighter sockets to a double USB socket... loads on Amaz’in or Fleabay ... and then use a basic Bluetooth USB Dongle plugged into the socket and a Standard audio cable from the dongle to the iPhone... works a treat with the iPhone 6 for music and hands free phone, total cost about £20.00 plus time to fit the socket... Lexus RX450H - 500 mile a week commuter- I just couldn’t trust in a newer RRS or DS for that….
2009 Freelander 2 HSE... 155K miles, we’ve done 135k of those, has done brilliantly on the commute and staying firmly put as car two in the household
2002 Jaguar XK8 Coupe... fun, fast, ours for 12 years and owes us nothing - so staying with us too…

Can you connect to both this for music and car Bluetooth for hand-free at the same time, or do you need to disconnect the music streaming to be able to use the built in car phone connectivity? Current: FL2 TD4 2008 HSE

Phone still works through the car bluetooth, and music through the dongle. Steve

So was fiddling with my HSE on Thursday and was going to remove the iPod caddy as my phone didn't fit it.
I had assumed it was just a cradle but looking further there was a 30 pin plug at the bottom, and following the wires revealed the LR ACM audio interface Smile

Now this was a 30 pin, but my iPhone was a new lightening adapter, so I looked at adapters.
Seemed a bit of a faff as the 30 pin to Lightening adapters seemed variable quality, and I would still have to work out what to do with mounting it.

Looking further at the ACM module itself, rung a few bells from years ago, and it turns out the ACM is actually made by Dension.

A bit more research revealed a Dension to Lightening adapter, using a standard USB cable - result as this means I can use my Brodit cradle from my old car Surprised

Ordered the bits and all works fine Smile
Sound quality is great

So that's a lot of words to say that the LR ACM with 30 pin iPod cradle can be converted into a Lightening connector using this adapter:

I've got a Bluetooth module for sale, complete with duel cigarette plug power socket [keeps it charged].
You just need your phone to USB cable.

Same set up as here:
