Advice pls

Hi,any comments welcome pls.
I am sometimes getting into the car to restart the engine (warm engine) and it will crank and fire and tickover ,but will not accelerate .
if I stop and restart all is well and no further problems.
it only has occurred on a 2 mile journey to the tip and then only occaisionally.
Any idea,s ?
I am thinking throttle body but no noises from it or any other issues.
I,m foxed,
new battery 3 months ago,egr blanked18 months ago.

Any help welcome,
Thanks,
Bob

Does the battery light stay on ? Mine did this until I had the extra earth strap added.

Sounds like throttle body to me.
Mine did this on occasion, eventually body died outside mother-in-laws late one evening. Only then could the code reader that I always carry come up with throttle body fault.
Replaced throttle body and fault never appeared again in the next 50k miles. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner
