My brother is loosely on the hunt for a FL2 as he has now moved way into the sticks outside Cleobury Mortimer. According to the neighbours the lanes quite often get snowed over due to the high banks and hedgerows so he is convinced a 4x4 is the only option (he has Mazda CX5 FWD which is surprisingly capable in normal English snow )

He is looking around the 11k-12k mark at 11/12/62 plate models, but there are a few 2013 GS spec ones that fall into his budget area.

I know that spec has Bluetooth connectivity for hands free, but can you also stream music over the Bluetooth or would he need to buy adaptors of some description for aux connection ?

I stream music from my iPhone via a permanently powered Bluetooth dongle.
Works fine, you can control the volume with the radio & steering wheel knob/buttons, but you can't advance tracks.

My [fully loaded] MY11 61k mile GS is going in the next couple of days, but poss a bit too cheap/late/far! FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

What you getting to replace it then Ron ?

I have a short 3.5mm-3.5mm jack lead in mine for the aux, 62 plate pre facelift and that works fine for me, just plug it in and select a playlist before I set off and drop the phone in the armrest cubby.

He needs to part ex his current one in due to a small amount of finance of finance left on it but having just moved house, and having to replace his wifes written off car they have exhausted their ready cash pot.

Back to a D4 Rog.  FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

I would love to have a D4 but I would want the 8 speed 2012> with the meridian and rotary gear knob. Besides the massive thirst the cost of running it (front bushes, brakes EGR) the thought of a snapped crankshaft or blown turbos scares the bejesus out of me.
