3.2 rear brake discs.

Right, I'm looking at a complete overhaul of the rear brakes. They're still pretty much ok, but I need to change the N/S rear handbrake cable so I may as well get it all done in one hit, rather than have to do the job of taking everything apart twice in the next 12 months or so, if that makes sense.
Problem is I'm getting conflicting feedback from vendors. Some say the rears are the same across the petrol and diesel models, others say not, but don't know why not other than "it only lists diesel models".
I can get a complete set of discs, shoes, cables and pads at a very keen price, and the vendor says they will fit my 3.2 even though they are listed for the diesel.
AFAIK, the rears are all 302mm, so they should all be the same for petrol and diesels, or am I missing something ?

There are subtle differences between certain discs but they may still be interchangeable between models. Check out mintexbrakebook.com which lists various different discs for petrol /diesel etc. using their part numbers you might be able to cross reference to the ones you have been offered. Hope this helps!

Fronts are larger at 316mm, but rears are all 302mm. But you're right about being vented. This means they need to be 20mm deep.
