At a slight tangent, I use Bilt's shampoo and wheel cleaner, great results, so doubtless their rust killer is going to be as good

Most proprietary rust convertors are Phosphoric Acid based . That’s the bit of the formulation that does the work , the other stuff is to get it to stick . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

2016 Subaru Outback SE 2.0 diesel SE Premium Lineartronic Sold 2024 after 8 years and 80k miles . Best Car I ever owned !

Back in the good old days a friend used this on a rusty hinge on a Vauxhall Viva. He left it for a couple of hours closed the door and it fell off in his hands. It was only the rust holding it.

I used to use it a lot years ago myself on various rust buckets

Used Kurust for years, in my experience it's the only stuff that works. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE
