Easter yesterday

I hope everyone had a good Easter yesterday.

Easter is defined as the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox. This year the Spring equinox (last week) was followed on the same day, but four hours later, by a full Moon. Hence Easter was yesterday. The shops were full of Easter Eggs anyway so no one should have missed out. Very Happy 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

That definition is correct but in the eyes of the Church Easter is also a moveable feast and this year Easter day will be on Sunday 21st April. But whenever it comes enjoy it and celebrate the resurrection of Christ.

Happy Easter,
J

Down under the shops were full of Easter eggs & hot cross buns on the 26th of December!

Maybe we should alternate Easter & Christmas daily throughout the year! Easter & Christmas have given all appearances of having lost all meaning due to commercialism.

PS. I'm not religious. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
