I've recently purchased my 2008 silver freelander 2 td4.

First land rover ever and i can say overall i'm impressed but i have a noisy diff

noisy diff ?

get yourself over to Austen at Bell Engineering who is just outside Bewdley, so not far from you.

He can check to see if the diff is faulty or not, but with the age of your car I would strongly recommend getting him to change the diff oils front and back and to service the Haldex. You will see a massive difference.

If the diff is fault he can supply and fit an uprated one at very reasonable costs

Make sure it’s not your tyres first.
