About 90% of the population care as they know it will cost dearly.

Can anyone give a view on the PMs mindset when she constantly said that no deal is better than a bad deal, so if that's the case why is she flogging her negotiated bad deal. In answering please try to avoid the obvious that for her it is all about protecting her job at any cost.

She obviously is not trying to protect her job , she knows she’s finished and is going to stand down and not fight another election . A very well funded pension , retirement , and a few non exec jobs plus the lecture circuit await .

She is basically a very decent , loyal , but wholly incapable and ineffective person . She has taken on an impossible task and she knows it I believe . She knew from day one that Exiting would be extremely damaging to the country and her party .

She is working on several fronts she believes in . Firstly to keep the Conservative party from fragmenting . Secondly to keep the country out of the hands of left wing extremists . Finally she believes she has to deliver some form of exit no matter ho damaging because the electorate asked for it .

The job is so toxic , and she is so loyal that she will see it through , hoping that Mogg and the ERG will be neutered . Then there will be a new more centrist Tory leader elected , who can say “ it was her .. etc .

Of course there is still the chance that there will be a people’s vote , I even wonder if this is her endgame as it would be win-win for her no matter the outcome . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Yep, trouble is that Labour has effectively been taken over by the extreme left and the Conservatives are being pulled to the extreme right by the ERG and DUP who are exerting a lot of influence

Be interesting to see how this breakaway group goes. Whether it will wither and die or start to gather some momentum. Listening to some of the Tory deserters on the radio yesterday I felt very "in tune" with most of what they were saying

Do you remember those days when both of the main parties were battling over virtually the same bit of "centre ground"

MartynB has got it about right, I just don't know what is driving PM May, she just keeps on fighting and is very good at keeping everyone away from stopping her, but I believe that she is doing what she thinks is best for the country.

It's just that the start and destination of her journey are not at all ideal.

I also hope that Jenks1950 has spotted a way of avoiding the extremists ruining our country. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

It is sad to see the last British manufacturer of displsy fireworks going out of business because the EU regulations stopped them from selling to others. If only they had been able to keep going a few months longer.

And EU inspectors have been raiding British fish farms while they can. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

Got to love Jezza , fighting for the proletariat with a poverty stricken gross income of around £170, 000 a year from salary, opposition leaders allowance , local government pension , and state pension . Power to the workers brothers , as long as their taxes keep funding his lifestyle . But he still hates anyone one can earn more than that by enterprise . Still , when Labour wise up and get rid of the Marxist loonies , he ‘ll probably be able to struggle by on the £ 100,000 he’ll have for the rest of his life .

But there’s nowt new with champagne socialists , they have always been great at redistribution of wealth as long as it’s not their own Censored 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

As I read it the EU did not stop the company from selling to other countries, only that there was proper paperwork supplied to ensure that the fireworks met certain standards. There was restrictions placed on selling powerful fireworks for individuals rather than for organised events. Given how many idiots misuse fireworks around Guy Fawkes can you really say that`s a bad thing! And if companies are creating cartels to drive up prices for their benefit I fail to see how an investigation into that is a bad thing for the consumer! And all the fish farms raided in Scotland are owned by Norwegian companies despite having Scottish sounding names!

My best advice to anybody trying to profit from the Brexit Chaos is to buy into Baked Bean Futures, as panic seems to be taking hold and people are backing up their larder. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

UKIP ridiculed for error-strewn pamphlet which misspells 'Britain', as Britian.

Didn't Labour do the same spelling mistake with Tony Bliar.

I'm waiting to see if the Welsh change their party name, Pliad Cymru..(no-one would spot that spelling anyway)

They are all Tin-Men as none of them have a Brian!!
