Used that link Ian , the link says I should get £100 more than I got but the link is less than webuy are offering, both of which I think are way too low. If I was selling my car privately I would be looking near £18k Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

From other posts that you have made I believe that you have about 34k miles on the clock and been offered £14.5K trade in and 16.5k by Webuyanycar.

From what I can see that seems to be the going prices for trade in and private sale.

For £18-19k you can buy a similar Metro from dealer fully serviced, MOT, with 2yr LR warranty.

Do you have an Extended LR Transferable Warranty or any thing else to help?

Also how does the price of your intended car (Volvo XC90) compare with published (Autotrader) value figures, is there wriggle room for negotiation there?

I always consider that each year of warranty is worth about £800 off the price to change, and take into account anything gained on the servicing/MOT period. Then allow a few thousand pounds for the dealer to run all those lights and free coffees at his show room. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
