Kage: The forum is fine, its just some threads wind people up and then it gets personal.
I followed this thread initially because I thought they'd be a couple of good jokes - and there was - I love the expression of the corgi !
But I guess it was inevitable that such a thread would deviate towards views on the rights of elderly people to drive and the value of the monarchy. If it gets out of hand the moderator should just shut down the thread.
Dont be put off - just move to other threads which will be much more useful to you and your Freelander. Jules

My TV tells me I have 809 channels I often turn it off.

This free to use site has more than just technical pages. Not a bad deal really but as most just want a answer to why the car is giving grief they get that for free and then move on. Anyone hanging around then is offering a personal opinion about life in general and guess what we are all different so back to line one. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

There's a report button if there's anything you are not happy with. I don't read everything on the forum so flag things up if there's an issue please.

I have not tried it but I understand you can stop the FL2 Seat belt alarm working by turning on the ignition and belting it and unbelting it 10 times continuously once bleeping starts (or something like that).

Its on a old message on the site so search may find it. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I did this quick on the computer but it would be good if someone could make a better copy to print and put in the back passenger window of my FL2....
