I guess HMRC would argue that they could set up a DD to put the money aside before the VED is due. But I agree it feels like the government is deliberately penalising those people with less income. Jules

I work for another government department, Network Rail, as part of the telecoms engineering planning process and most days I am sickened, shocked, appalled, disgusted, bemused etc etc etc by some of the utterly planning and the decisions made by senior management. it seems to be the preferred way for anything government led.
