RF reciever, key fob buttons not working.

Can anyone please tell me where the RF reciever is for a 2012 freelander 2?

The buttons on both keyfobs no longer have any effect when pressed, Both keys still start the vehicle when put in the dock. The fact that both keys stopped working at the same time makes me think it's a problem with the reciever and not key fob or charging related.

If anyone could tell me where to find the RF reciever and how easy it is to access and test that would be great.
Thank you for your help.

I take it that the door locks work normally from handles and switches when locking and unlocking.
Also the Key Fob does not operate the Approach lighting, Panic Alarm, or Tailgate Release.

The Central Junction Box CJB contains the logic which enables the Key Fob to operate the alarm and locks.
The little red light on the Instrument Panel indicates Alarm setting / working. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

Yeah all the door locks from the handles and the button on the dash work as normal.
And none of the buttons on either keys (lock, unlock, approach lights, boot release or the alarm) do anything when pressed.
The little red light near the instrument cluster is flashing.

One last thought, is your problem occurring wherever you are parked.

Lots of devices use the 433Mhz frequency, and some people have been caught out with Household Smart Meters.
