dash cam install fixed wire type

Ok, on reflection it maybe easier to use the bonnet fusebox.I can get pos/neg from the battery and switched from the cig socket. My question is how to get from passenger foot well to bonnet ,any grommets to go through ,had a quick look and not seeing much

I have hard wired mine to the passenger fuse box after seeing it done on youtube. piggy backed it. Took the glove box out but really did not need to. Passenger seat pushed right back. Cover clipped off and hey presto. I found having good illumination helped as i was doing it in my garage. Personally i would not even consider trying to wire into the engine fuse box.
