Central locking issue my07

Hi all, new member with an issue. We have a my07 freelander as a second car which developed a strange fault with the central locking, my wife was out shopping, got back to the car and it would not unlock, rang me in a panic as she had the children with her, so off I went with the spare key, this also wouldn't unlock the car. I noticed the mirrors where unfolded and after trying all the doors found them definitely locked barring the o/s/r. So I jumped in and opened the drivers door internally, I then sat in the seat and tried using the fob to lock/unlock, nothing, dash wouldn't accept the fob either. So after scratching my head for a minute I jumped out and shut the doors and tried to lock the car, nothing, more head scratching, jumped back in and hazards start to flash, dash now accepted key, ignition on starts up OK, hazards sort themselves out and now everything works as it should, has anyone else had a similar experience? I am an ag engineer by trade so handy with spanners and multimeters but don't come across many central locking issues on tractors!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Were you parked near a phone mast it happened to me just one time when we were away on holiday then all was fine and never happened again. Understeer when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower how fast you hit the wall.
Torque how far you take the wall with you.

Hi guys, no not parked near a phone mast at the time, have searched through the forum for clues but nothing seems particularly the same as my issue, forgot to mention earlier the clock is now the wrong time, so I assume it's had a power supply issue, checked battery leads all tight and clean

this is almost definitely battery related, if its the original battery change it, if its not check terminals, and as you said you are good with a volt meter .volt drop positive, negitive, and engine earth under load, pls let us know how you get on.
