Downloading CDs

When I've downloaded some CDs on my63 plate they appear with no artist, title, track details etc. Am assuming this is down to what information is imbedded on the CD itself, rather than an intermittent fault with the audio system? At the moment 4 of the 10 downloads are simply numbers; they all play fine

If they are copied CDs (say bought on a market), they do not always have the correct embedded data.
I have the same problem on some of my CD files that I have copied myself from non official CD sources. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 74k+ miles) (MY2015)

I use CDEx for converting CD audio to MP3 - it adds all the meta-data from internet resources Jules

I have the same problem but I think it's because your Gracenote Database is out of date. All of my old cd's come up with track/album/artist but anything recent just comes up with a track number and nothing else.

A bit frustrating but apparently the last update for Freelander was 2014 so even if you could get that it wouldn't make that much difference.

If you manage to crack this, please let me know.

I tried a lot of my CD collection built up over the last 30 years (all classical music and original so no copies) and found that some of them just don't have the meta data. I haven't found a pattern across publisher or age with my lot. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
