That's always the gamble. I'm very happy with my current car, despite considering changing just a few weeks ago due to a change in circumstances, but things have changed again Maybe by the time everything is tidied up and the cash is in, something will have broken on either the car or the house Learned to drive in 2011. Bought a Micra - great little car "Upgraded" to Kia Sportage - hated it Proper upgrade to FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k Reconditioned diff at 70k ish Sold at 84k and now on a DS. Terribly unreliable. Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed.... Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental |

That's a good idea actually. Hadn't thought of preventative maintenance like that. Learned to drive in 2011.

Im off to see Austen this Friday for a checkover of the transmission on my Evoque with a view to booking in to have the Haldex and diff fluids changed after Xmas. Im hoping to keep this one a good while so will do the preventative stuff asap as its now 7 years old with 54k.
