Key fob battery

Warning light appeared last night, advising battery low. What sort of time do I have to replace the battery? Work commitments may delay buying battery for a few days, is fob likely to die in meantime and leave me stranded?

You can get a new battery from pretty much anywhere, Tesco etc all sell them I believe, and then fit it yourself

even if it does die altogether you can still get in the car using the emergency manual key in the fob and then hold the fob underneath the steering column and hit the start button

Managed to find time to pick up a couple of batteries tonight but ironically the low battery warning had already gone out Laughing

Battery fitted and bloody fob still showing low on dashboard display Crying or Very sad Took fob apart again and realised that the advisory warning on the battery, about feeding them to children, was still there. Removed said sticker and fob working fine Rolling with laughter
