Exhaust tip

Has anyone any experience of these exhaust tip by Powerful co.uk, either twin pipe or oval. They are about one third of the price of a LR part but I’m not sure about the overall look. Exhaust gases still escape as normal as these are a dummy tip which sit straight. Do they last of corrode and stain? Which looks best, twin or oval.

Preferring the twin.
Edit - have since looked at the side view and it does look odd. Didn't realise it was purely a cosmetic item.

I bought the single one for mine but it does not fit. I have a standard exhaust but it is clearly the wrong design part to be any use.
I sent it back no problem but they haven’t upgraded the part as yet. Derek Hill

I nearly bought these until I saw 1 from the side. They looked wierd imo.
I just put on a 75mm straight piece and it looks great. Was only £8 from ebay too.

I bought the same tip (single) from the same company Powerfuluk.com and have not fitted it yet, along with the rear mudflaps... But having read this thread I thought I would trial fit it to see if its the right size, thank fully it is and I think it looks very neat, so it will get done tomorrow Smile

It’s the side view that puts me off as well. Just does not look right.

Think its choice really, I know the exhaust has to point down and its just for looks that it bends up, but it does look smart in my view, guess we are all different Smile I have put a stainless steel cover on the top of the rear bumper and will be fitting a spoiler as well, just smartens up the back end if somewhat empties the wallet Smile Smile 2014 Freelander 2 XS TD4

Don't drink beer as the end result I pee more I think a shiny bit on the end is a better investment Smile
I think it is about choice, maybe not yours but I like it. Hey this reminds me of...... Laughing

Have to agree with Volrider. Can’t handle the beer these days. It’s a small bit of bling, not expensive but improves the look.

I’d agree about the £40 ones but for £8 a bit of bling and a cleaner look it’s a no brainer.
Plus I rarely drink these days. Wink
