Indoor swimming pool

Hi,

As you can see from the title I went to my car this morning at 05.30 to find my passenger foot well absolutely swimming in fresh water Censored

After a day in work ive come home and removed 3 ltrs of fresh water from the passenger foot well and 1 ltr from the drivers side, there was so much water that the rear heater openings were actually blowing bubbles Surprised

I dropped the head liner as I thought that storm Calum was hiding out in my car after getting in through detached drain pipes. After 30 minutes of work I find the drain pipes tightly secured with a cable tie and a bone dry headliner and A pillars.

So plan B I went a hunting for the aircon drain pipe, the pipe appeared to be attached however I though I would remove it to check it wasn't blocked. I found that the pipe has a v shape slot in the rear of the pipe i don't suppose anybody knows if this is normal for the pipe?

I checked that the drain was patent and clear which it was and reattached the pipe as far onto the outlet port as much as possible then added a little cable tie to the git!

Is there any other reason for my indoor swimming pool or do you think I have solved my little problem?

Thank you guys and galls Thumbs Up If your going through hell, keep going!

Wrapper of rear pillars 😀

Not an fl2, but with my last car, I got this until I had the windscreen refitted and put some insulation tape across the bottom of the screen, where it meets the plastic bit.

If you have confirmed the fitting of the drain pipes then next must be checking the door seals.

The cabin filter was changed in July during its normal service so shouldn't be that, the bulk head drain was full so have cleaned the teeny tiny holes on the passenger side, might make them a bit bigger to help them not to block off.

The screen doesn't seem to leak as I tried to look using a watering can.

Its dry now for will see if it gets wet again Rolling Eyes If your going through hell, keep going!
