MY14 satnav POI files

Hi guys n gals

well I have looked far and wide using the search function but cannot find an answer to this:

I am trying to load Caravan and Camping club POI files to my satnav, seems simple enough, but it won't happen.

Firstly I only have a MacBook to do all the copying and conversion etc and I am aware and have formatted my data stick to DOS or EXFAT32 master boot record format and the car can see that as I can play music from it.

The problem is the files, I have downloaded the CSV file and converted it on the fly from some of the GPS websites to give me a GPX file (as needed by the satnav) and I have looked at the file using a text editor and can see the data (looks a lot like XML to me) and all seems to fine. However when I try to load it in the car it shows the file as being corrupt and won't load it.

I have tried downloading the OV2 file and converting that into GPX but again, it won't load it Big Cry Sad Sad

Has anyone ever successfully loaded myPOI into the MY14 satnav as I have spent hours on this now and it has become a war of attrition for me ..... Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad  MY2014 SD4 XS

I add POI's all the time, same set up as you describe, however I do use a windows based pc to format the usb (at work) and download / add the files via Pocket GPS site. Also - if at first it gives you the corrupt message, just unplug and try again, it works for me.

Hmm ok I will give it yet another try. Thanks for the reply, I have seen quite a few posts outlining the issue but none seems to have a fix.

Will keep plugging away and will get back if I find a cure.
Many thanks  MY2014 SD4 XS
