Probably Rog seems everything else is Very Happy
Cannot see it making much difference as long as Dot marked and whatever other checks are done. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

I drive a LR product... I don't have money or common sense Rolling with laughter

but budget tyres are totally useless in bad rain or snow conditions in my experience.

they will stay on until the winter is over regardless of how they perform and I'll assess the budget then Very Happy

Please can someone tell me why for what appears to be the same type of tyre, from the same supplier, the larger? one appears to be a lot cheaper.

That is 235 55 R19 £149 and 235 65 R19 £120 ?

What am I not seeing? FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

R19 with a ratio of 65 is not a size I have seen on any car. These are large diameter tyres but not that wide at 235 for the large car likely to use a tyre this diameter. My guess is that these tyres have been sitting around for a few years.

This diameter is even a little larger than what is on a D3/4 as standard & they would be using 255 as a minimum width.

Is your spare wheel a repair kit? Otherwise the "biscuit" will be a completely different size & I would very much doubt a spare 787 mm diameter biscuit will fit in the boot. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

spare is the gunk kit unfortunately Big Cry

based on answers received ill stick with the current budget tyres until they wear down to the point of needing a new set. I may well move from 235 to 255 but stick with the 55 profile when the time comes

thanks for all the responses guys, helpful as ever Thumbs Up
