Hi everyone.

Wondering if anyone knows the correct part number for the steering pump in my 2007 Td4 please? A supplier recommendation would also be great

VIN is 7AXXXXXX

Found a suitable part on eBay and the part checker says that it is not suitable for MY 07 Td4. Other part numbers are LR007207 and LR007208 (LR007208 being a remanufactured part). However the part finder on eBay also says that LR007207 is not suitable for my MY.

I'm changing the pump because there is a knocking noise coming from engine bay. It disappears as revs are increased.

I've done the reservoir change as detailed at http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic8893.html this morning and the knocking noise has reduced dramatically. However the noise is still there and I think the pump is stuffed.

Reason being, I can here graunching noises by 'listening' to it through a long screwdriver 'stethoscope' whilst someone else rotates the steering wheel.
