Poor DAB signal

Hi, I've recently picked up a 2009 Freelander2 HSE, with the premium stereo included. I've searched, and found various posts where the stereo said "digital" but didn't work at all for DAB - my problem is a little different. I can get DAB, but the signal quality is pretty terrible. I frequently lose signal altogether while driving.

Is there any troubleshooting I can do? Or is it possible to amplify the antennae?

Thanks, I had a bit of a look around. I changed the region to UK and the channel to III - although I was still cutting out of some channels. I think part of the problem is DAB is highly regional, like FM, and we were maybe on the periphery of the range for certain stations.
