Update: Well, the crop is coming thick and fast! So far I’ve eaten 5% of my first radish crop, given the rest away as I had far too many. In fact I should have should have staggered it, I’m getting too much at once! I’ve got:
Radishes
3 different types of potato
2 different types of tomato
Red and white onions
Garlic
Sprouts
Golden and normal cabbage
Green and red kale
2 types of broccoli
Cauliflower
Courgettes
Pumpkins
Crystal Apple cucumbers
Apples
Strawberries
Blueberries
Raspberries
Dwarf French beans
Runner beans
A salad bed full of salady stuff
Flat leaf parsley and basil
Carrots
Parsnips
And a few more things I can’t remember or recognise. (Must remember to label things next year!)

Tonight I brought home a few bits - beans, courgettes, green and red kale and beetroot - golden and red. Boiled the beetroot and eaten half of it already!

Just a few pics of my crop. Whistle

A very constructive post for someone who hasn’t posted for over 3 years. This is the 'off topic' section of this freelander site. That means it’s Censored all to do with freelanders. Feel free to stay away or STFU if you have nothing constructive to add. Looking forward to your next post in 2022. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Dis-as-ter!

Anyone with any ideas how I can get rid of these Censored from my brassicas or is it too late? I did net them but obviously not securely enough as I’ve seen butterfly’s under the netting. Sad

I think the chickens would do more damage to cabbages quicker than the caterpillars! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Steve, might be tad late now ( unless you spray Evil or Very Mad ) but next year have a close look at * companion plants * Thumbs Up

As above, fine mesh netting sometimes helps. Whistle especially if you remember to put it back on Embarassed
