2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Mauritius Blue

I have a noise.

Driving with my windows down today, and heard what I can only describe as a 'spinning' or 'skidding' noise when setting off. I dont know where its coming from, and have no idea when it started. I can only hear it with my windows open, but I have hearing loss anyway.

Thoughts? Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018

Does it make the noise with the windows down if you just rev it and don't go anywhere?

It seems to be when moving off. I cant get the noise when revving the engine. Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018
