Scottish tour

Currently doing a Tour de Britain and Orkney in the FL2 and got as far as Fort William. I can’t believe how busy it is up here. I was expecting miles of open roads but in places it’s worse than the M3! So far reading about 42mpg over about 500 miles. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

Well we have heard lots of foreign accents and languages so your Glasgow theory sounds credible . 😀 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

The west coast is busier this year than it has even been as people take advantage of the long dry spell having kept midgies at about 1/10 of their usual numbers. They will be back - and we will get quiet roads again. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

At Fort William, you've only just dipped your toe into Scotland, Done a few tours on the bike and the higher you go the emptier the roads.

The Isle of Skye is no busier than usual for this time of year. Plenty of empty roads, but camper vans and rental cars being driven erratically by foreigners can slow progress a little at times. Currently enjoying:
2011 Freelander 2 TD4 XS (SOLD)
2013 BMW X3 20D M-Sport Auto
2007 Jaguar XK 4.2 Coupe
