See I’m the opposite, not a football fan but I like the internationals.

The VAR is doing it’s job though. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Or you could watch Formula 1 which is now so predictable that paint drying is a real alternative. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

As far as I'm concerned, the only World Cup is next year, in Japan. Steve

FIFA needs to introduce a "Man Up" card for those pufters that fall over at the slightest touch. Another useful job for VAR. Two Man Ups should equal a yellow card.
Also all this surrounding the ref when they don't like a decision was dealt with in Rugby by giving the other team 10 yards. Any dissent should be a yellow card. And so what if a team is whittled down to 6 players? They'll soon stop doing it. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

It's beyond me that the FIFA committee watch the way the players act and they must think its ok because its been like this for decades and they do nothing.

I think they need a sin bin, 5 minutes off the pitch for any thing the referee feels appropriate, including and upto one of my fav lines from 'Not The Nine Oclock News': "...looking at me in a funny way...". Smile

I'd also outlaw impeding players with your arms. That would stop all the grabbing and wrestling that goes in free kicks and corners, and blocking people with outstretched arms.
