I do not think it is a problem. I have had the same noise in my other cars. Or am I totally wrong?

I have this too. Dealer says they can't hear anything, the loaner I had creaked worse than mine. I'll give it another go when it goes back for the rear strut collars to be replaced.

Power Steering?

I had a similar sound.

It was confirmed by local dealer "tech". The noise increased as the steering wheel was turned. Gearbox cause was elliminated as FL2 was in neutral.

Was advised car safe to drive whilst power steering reservoir was on back order (none on shelf at dealer or at LR)

3 days later noise was worse and steering wheel nigh impossible to move. Called Land Rover Assistance who attended. LRA Tech was agahst I was allowed to drive, especially as I had advised the T&C "Tech" I was going to Glasgow 200 miles each way). T&C "Tech" said if the power steering failed it just make steering "more difficult". LRA Tech said "so difficlult just hoppe there are no bends"!!!!

Car taken by LRA to T&C and repaired - part appeared within a day!!

Moral of my tale - Any steering related noise get 2nd opinions!!!! 07 RRS Java Black

Yeah both my car and my Dad's FL2 do a similar thing. However, they seem to do it when turning at slow speeds. Seems to be a clonking noise and not necessarily on full lock. My local dealer have said there's nothing wrong. Strange how two cars do the same thing. Could be a charateristic??
