Someone with a dislike for Land Rovers decided to torch a few at Taggarts Land Rover Motherwell last night! The Land Rover showroom/workshops have just been emptied to allow for refurbishment and all the vehicles moved across the road into a secure compound behind their other dealerships. houses were being broken into in our estate every night, and that was 30 years ago, probably worse nowadays.

Someone set fire to the townhouse hotel in Hamilton yesterday. Place has be derelict for 20yrs , all of a sudden it goes on fire .. very strange Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

I heard recently of the plans by Taggarts owners to greatly expand the Land Rover dealership site, including demolition of adjacent block of flats. So perhaps the damaged buildings were all coming down anyway.

The Town House Hotel is due to be replaced by a new build for one of the cheap hotel chains. Maybe part of the building being listed was in the way of that.

Don't know anyhing about the Glasgow School of Art, but there do seem to be too many suspicious fires lately. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!
