Steam from all dashboard vents .... why

After really long drive today, stuck on M 25 etc. Steam started to pour out of all dashboards vents, steaming up side windows & screen!?
Tried messing around with air con controls incl turning it off , only helped slightly. So what is wron s? Ideas how to fix for trip home. ( engine temp fine) Life is not a dress rehearsal!

Easy fix, unblock the AC drain pipe hidden under the centre console. Search it out on here as its a common enough fault and remedy to try first at zero cost. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

It gave me a solid thrill the first time it happened to me.

I just put it down to a peculiar "perfect storm" of ambient air temperature/humidity forming clouds in the air vents. I think it has happened 3 times in the 7 years we have had Terry and stops as mysteriously as it starts.....it could be the drain hose is blocked though Wink As it cures it's self I don't tend to worry about it.
