Electric folding wing mirrors problem??

Hi guys looking for some help and information just got my car back from it being mot’ed (passed with flying colours) and I’ve noticed that my wing mirrors aren’t folding anymore you can still change the position of the mirror inside of it but it doesn’t go into the reverse move thing when I put it into reverse any help would be very much appreciated

It’s a 2013 model aswell

if I remember right, set the mirrors where you want them then press and hold both buttons together and hay presto. Common sense isn't very common.

Sounds like the 'reverse mirror dip' setting has been turned off? Go into the settings and check. Reverse mirror movement is also affected by seat memory, has that been altered? Possibly adjusted by the MOT tester? A man with very short legs perhaps Rolling with laughter

Pressing both buttons will manually fold your mirrors.

To adjust position of mirrors for reversing, just put car into reverse, with ignition on, and adjust mirrors to position required,
Mirrors will return to 'memorised' position when anything other than reverse is selected, and return to the 'reverse setting whenever reverse is selected automatically.

Normal mirror positions are remembered by pressing the set mem (and 1 2 or 3) buttons, to set them and just pressing (1 2 or 3) buttons to return to setting (and of course seat). FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

If the mirrors were closed manually dont they have to be opened manually before they become fully operational again?
