However, they will be stupidly cheap second hand, in the way of the Aston Martin Lagonda and then be worth money again in 20 years time...This would be great assuming you haven't gouged your eyes out in the interim so you don't have to look at it.

Yes, it’s good to see that Sniff Petrol is back on form, even if BMW/Rolls Royce isn’t!

Are there enough people with plenty of money and absolutely no taste, or subtlety, who will buy enough to make it a success?

And a further plus, now that the Bentley Continental has almost achieved respectability, owners can now have something new that will make them look like a complete knob.

It’s interesting that the P38a Range Rover never really recovered from looking like a 1980’s Metrocab, now BMW would seem to have fallen down the same hole, especially as this looks even more like a black cab than the P38a did!

Whoever runs the styling department needs to look for a new career Shocked

Oldest Rolls in the World

I now often speak to a gentleman called Ken in the next village pub who is still much brighter than me at his mature age of 94 years.

He told me the other day about this car that turned up in a lockup / barn in Seacroft Leeds (mostly now a massive council estate). It was restored locally and the leather restoration back then was the price of a good Yorkshire house. A day later Ken turned up with a newspaper cutting to show me as its quite a story from the back streets of Leeds to probably the Worlds most valuable car.

At least it’s not a rounded cloned jelly mould car. If I had disposable income I’d be tempted Whistle

Not sure how good it really is off road knowing RR it won’t be a light vehicle. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

No not a jelly mould at all, just looks like every other cab.

However though, I said over on Disco 4 that I’d take the Range Rover over this but I don’t think it looks too bad. And if I had £300k burning a hole in the bank account I might join you in buying one. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
