Ok, I'm being stupid here - do I need to remove the fitting to change the glove box light? If so, how?

I have disassembled the glove box in order to replace the bulb.
The light brackets are composed with one spring which I can’t assemble back. Confused
The access is really bad difficulting me to see.
Any tips or videos how to do it, besides the video?

Many thanks! :thumbs-up

Just a question but do you need resistors to replace the door mirror bulbs with led bulbs or will I be ok just to do a straight swap with a canbus error free led bulb?

Just replaced footwell, glove compartment, door and mirror with these... NZ$5 (about 2.5quid) for 10 from Aliexpress delivered. Figured for that price if some don't work/go pop then it's still worth it.

Perfect for this use i think as the light is a very diffuse wide angle, no bright spots. Haven't tried in my driving lights yet... but will give it a go, although I think would want a more spotty LED for that.

Link if anyone wants it:

Will try and snap some pics tonight when it gets dark.

I have bought HID / Xenon head lamp units to replace the halogen heals lamp units. I am looking for bulbs now. I want the high beam / low beam / side lights and fog lights to all match. I don't really mind how white they are - but preferably around the 5000K mark.

Has anyone achieved a combination that they are happy with in matching the whiteness / yellowness / colour temperature and what bulbs did you go with? I was planning on getting Philips Extreme Vision D1S. My car is a MY2011 model.

I have been reading for over a hour over barious forum posts and cannot find the answer to this question and would be grateful if someone could post an answer for this.

I also plan to match the number plate lights, reverse lights, puddle lamps and maybe the interior lights down the track...
