LED Indicators with NO LOAD RESISTORS

I have been systematically replacing all of my lighting with LEDs but didn't really fancy using load resistors for all of the indicators. These things should be avoided in my opinion because they generate a LOT of heat and could potentially present a fire risk in a worst case scenario - if the hazards are left on for a long period of time. So anyway I found these on fleabay a few days ago and decided to give them a try.

I have to say that I was amazed at the brightness compared with the standard bulbs - almost too bright! They simply replace the original bulbs with no modifications needed, AND they flash correctly.
They are certainly not cheap but if you factor in the cost of load resistors and the time needed to mount them in a safe place etc. they are a worthwhile mod in my opinion.

I can now safely say that I don't have any more filament bulbs in my car Thumbs Up Cheers,

Why did landrover stick HB3 halogens in their HSE's and the like but better lamps in so-called 'lower spec models'?

As Toyah would say 'its a mystery' (for the older ones that) Laughing If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

They are a one time fit and will probably out live the car Laughing and they are instant on/off and brighter making them more up to date with 'modern' cars. Also safer as they are more visible in heavy road spray - you should see these in action - when I indicate, there is no doubt that I am indicating!

Next question Wink Cheers,
