WindScreen Washer Problem

Took advantage of the good weather to try and fix my windscreen washer problem. The drivers' side had stopped working and I had done the usual clearing of the washer but it was still blocked. having removed the part (the Jets)I found it seemed oK so started to investigate the pipe itself and found the plastic joint (see Picture) was blocked. Can any one supply the part no. for this or offer a solution.

Thanks[/img]

Hi, it's a one way valve. Stops the washer fluid draining back into the bottle. They can be found in any care spares shop, Halfords etc. Just refit with the arrow pointing towards the washer jet.

Thanks for your reply. I've never experience this before, did this just fail or is it clogged up with crud ?

If you don't run the washer bottle down and just keep topping it up the screenwash can turn a bit murky and this gets sucked up the pipes causing blockages.
It's a good practise to run the bottle as empty as possible every now and then (couple of years), put some clean water in, run jets to get it through the systen then refill with new mixture Thumbs Up
