England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Stornoway Grey

Remove the battery cover on the right side disconrct both terminals taking care not to let them touch any metal work lift it out it is heavy.
Refit and reset the window's

There should also be an M6 threaded rod ,clamp and nut , which hold the battery to the base of the battery box . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

I have tried that. Will not budge. There is a post to the left hand side, has this got anything to do with it?

i HAVE NOW REPLACED THE BATTERY WITH A NEW ONE.
PROBLEM REMAINS THE BATTERY SYMBOL ON THE DASH LIGHTS UP AFTER 20ISH SECONDS.

What was the bit about WINDOW's?

My problem is still the same with the new battery. Battery symbol lights up 20 ish seconds after start up.
Any ideas as i need to drive to the UK from Spain on Monday next.

Take the fuel filter out and check the thin blue wire coming out of the wiring harness. They normally rub through. Common fault on FL2's, if you search you should find quite a few posts on here about it. Thumbs Up
