Just wondering if anyone had disc and pads fitted all round and what price they paid. Been quoted £605 with vat using genuine parts from a independent Land Rover specialist. It is a garage I do use for my servicing and always found them to give an excellent service. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

First point there is no such thing as a Genuine brake part (apart from a label on the box) as all manufacturers buy in from several sources during the lifetime of producing any car. That said you do not want really cheap unbranded discs but the price you have been quoted is not far from a main dealer price in my opinion.

Girling pads from Andrew Page cost me a year ago £27.30p rear and front £30.99 inc Vat.

Recently I picked up 2 Genuine Rear Discs for stock at £53.79 delivered from a main LR dealer Hunters via Ebay.

Double check but I think all years at the front will take these if diesel. This may not be the best deal of course but it gives you an idea of price.

At the rear being MY13 with an electronic handbrake you need LR039935, price rise since I got mine. You could try to find it cheaper but this is from Hunters.

Thanks for your reply Yorky Bob with me not working on cars anymore I wasn't sure on this price. The last time I did this job it was all done for less than £150 and before that it was reshoeing the horse.
