Chance in this better weather to do more than dip the oil so just looked at the state of play in the air cleaner box, a bit more oil on the replaceable paper cleaner than I would like to see, knocked off the dust and put it back (turned it 180 degrees) and needs to be on the change list soon (circa 10,000 miles done).

However I did note the cover over the small batch of wires going to the MAF sensor was damaged and the thin Blue wire exposed to any rubbing. So worth a check. Wound some electrical tape round it and if I come across some small diameter clear (washer type) tube in the near future will spilt it and work it on. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
