Recorded this temp on my bike last year (it's the -4.9, not the 13.98..... ). Coldest I have seen is about -6.5. Heated Steering Wheels........ Rolling Eyes

Ian, do not worry my friend, you are not alone, I stand with you Rolling with laughter

Best thing since sliced bread a heated steering wheel. Bow down If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

-17c here today and heading towards -24c next week. On the plus side there's no snow and beautiful clear skies. Good opportunity to defrost the freezer by leaving the contents in boxes outside the door.

Schools may close at below -20c but otherwise everything continues to work as normal. Batteries can suffer on cars left outside but diesel fuel sold locally is good to -36c. Mine is a petrol anyway with a nice warm steering wheel Thumbs Up driving on the right side

No heater on my ‘83 110 CSW. Tropical spec vehicle but it could still be parky early mornings on the equator above 7,000 feet! And in the rain, with no demister and 14+ occupants, you were constantly wiping condensation off the windscreen! (Still the finest vehicle I’ve ever had, though! Smile ) 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

I've lashed down my water butts, they are full, need a strong wind to knock them over.

Bring back Michael Fish.

My Mums first car when she was learning to drive was an old bull nosed Reliant Regal 3 wheeler (you could drive it on a provisional licence as long as you blocked off reverse gear - we never did though) and the 'heater' was two slide doors either side of the transmission tunnel that exposed the engine, oil fumes and all, into the cabin. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

Got quite a bit here, still coming down. First proper snow we have had for about 5 or 6 years.

Not much here so far, but just as well, as this is what’s sitting where the FL2 should be... Sad

That’s an interesting link! I was watching the rainfall radar on the Met Office site earlier and there was a heavy system sitting in the south end of the Irish Sea off Wales. Your link shows why! 2005 D3 2.7 Auto
