Heated Front Screen coming on on its own?

In the recent cold weather I think the heated front screen has been coming on automatically. I could see the heat shimmer distortion you get when its on. But I had not switched it on and the dash light was not lit.

Am I imagining things, or have others found this?

Yes, thats correct! Once the temp drops low enough the screen will turn on by itself. Although the screen is on the dash switch does not light up. Took me by surprise too the first time I noticed it on mine! Thumbs Up
