I am looking to update my broken tailgate handle 2007 with a facelift one with the chrome strip. A black one preferably. I am also in Australia but will pay freight international if not to pricey.

You may be asking for a expensive option to paint over that chrome. To do it correctly its a lot of time and effort.

Sorry for any confusion. I don't want to paint over the chrome at all, the chrome strip mounts into a plastic handle that runs full width of the back door. It is that plastic part that I need black. Me thinks undercoat will be the standard supplied.

I ended up finding a second hand item the right colour and all from a wrecker in South Australia for less than half new price delivered to my door. Installed it yesterday in about 2 hours thanks to the help of a YouTube video doing just this job!
